Terms of Service

The rules for using MacroForge, including automation responsibility, cloud features, AI tools, and paid access.

1. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using MacroForge, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app or any associated services.

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age required in your country) to use MacroForge. If you are between 13 and the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

2. License to Use MacroForge

Subject to these Terms, MacroForge grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, and non-transferable license to install and use the app for your lawful purposes on devices you own or control.

3. Your Responsibility for Automation

MacroForge is a programmable automation tool. You are solely responsible for the macros, scripts, prompts, logic, and actions you create, import, or execute.

  • Third-Party Terms: You are responsible for ensuring that your automation activity complies with the terms of service, policies, and community rules of any third-party app, game, website, or service you interact with.
  • Risk of Enforcement: MacroForge is not responsible for bans, suspensions, rate limits, account terminations, or other actions taken by third-party services against you due to your automation activity.
  • Review Before Running: You must inspect and review any macro, script, or AI-generated workflow before executing it on your device.

4. Accounts, Cloud Features, and Security

Some features require creating an account, an active network connection, or a paid subscription.

  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Device Limits: MacroForge may enforce device and session limits associated with your account plan to prevent abuse and ensure service integrity.

5. Intellectual Property & User Content License

You retain all ownership rights in the macros, scripts, templates, and content you create.

  • License Grant to MacroForge: When you upload, sync, share, or publish macros, scripts, descriptions, or metadata through MacroForge cloud features, Share Center, or the Community Store, you grant MacroForge a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license (with right to sublicense) to host, store, cache, reproduce, format, display, and distribute such content solely for the purpose of operating, improving, and providing the MacroForge platform.
  • License Grant to Other Users: When you publish content publicly in the Community Store or share it with another user, you grant that user a non-exclusive, personal license to download, view, modify, and execute that macro in their MacroForge client for lawful purposes.
  • Representations: You represent and warrant that you own or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to upload and share any content you submit.

MacroForge respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same. If you believe that content available on the MacroForge platform infringes your copyright or intellectual property rights, please submit a written notice to support@macroforge.net containing:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
  2. Identification of the infringing material on MacroForge (e.g., macro title, creator username, share link, or store listing ID).
  3. Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, email).
  4. A statement of good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

We will review and respond to valid notices and take appropriate action, including removing or disabling access to infringing content and terminating repeat infringers.

7. AI Features

MacroForge offers AI-assisted code generation, action building, and macro editing.

  • No Guarantee of Accuracy: AI-generated outputs are generated probabilistically and may contain bugs, syntax errors, inefficiencies, or unintended behavior.
  • Mandatory Review: You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and testing any AI-generated script or action before saving or executing it.
  • Service Availability: AI features are subject to usage rate limits and may require an active, paid subscription.

8. Purchases, Trials, and Subscriptions

MacroForge offers paid Pro and Premium tiers through Google Play.

  • Billing & Processing: All in-app purchases and subscriptions are processed directly through Google Play Billing and are subject to Google Play Terms of Service.
  • Renewals & Cancellation: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled prior to the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via your Google Play account settings.
  • Refunds & Statutory Rights: Refund requests are managed by Google Play in accordance with Google Play refund policies. If you are an EU/EEA consumer, statutory withdrawal rights apply in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws and Google Play store procedures.
  • Rewarded Ads: Eligible free users may choose to watch rewarded ads for additional community-macro runtime. Rewards are subject to successful server verification and the displayed daily cap. Ad availability is not guaranteed, has no cash value, and cannot be transferred between accounts or devices.

9. Prohibited Uses & Restrictions

You agree not to:

  • Use MacroForge for any illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or deceptive activity.
  • Automate any device, account, application, or service that you do not own or lack explicit authorization to control.
  • Use MacroForge for credential harvesting, keystroke logging of third parties, unauthorized surveillance, phishing, malware distribution, data exfiltration, or bypassing authentication controls.
  • Collect, harvest, or transmit personal data of other individuals without their express lawful consent.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on MacroForge servers, APIs, or networks.
  • Manipulate ad playback, forge or replay reward callbacks, alter reward identifiers, or otherwise attempt to receive an advertising reward without completing the required ad interaction.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app, except to the extent permitted by applicable mandatory law.
  • Resell, sublicense, or rent access to MacroForge without our express written consent.

10. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to your account, cloud sync, Share Center, Community Store, or AI features if we reasonably determine that you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or abusive behavior, or created security risks for other users or MacroForge.

11. Disclaimers

MacroForge is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. To the maximum extent permitted by law, MacroForge disclaims all warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MacroForge and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, use, goodwill, or device damage resulting from:

  • Your access to, use of, or inability to use MacroForge;
  • Any macro, script, or content created, downloaded, or run through the app;
  • Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your transmissions or data;
  • Any actions, suspensions, or bans taken by third-party services against your accounts.

Consumer Protection Carveout: Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any statutory consumer rights or remedies that cannot be lawfully excluded under the mandatory consumer protection laws of your jurisdiction.

13. General Provisions

  • Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Community Guidelines, constitute the entire agreement between you and MacroForge regarding the service.
  • No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
  • Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent. MacroForge may freely assign its rights and obligations.

14. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of The Netherlands, excluding its conflict of laws principles.

If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, this choice of law does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections under the law of your country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in the competent courts of your home jurisdiction or via the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.
